• Balanced, flow tested, and oil leak tested in-house

One of the biggest issues that plague 1KD owners is chipping of the rear turbine wheel. This can lead to significant damage and performance loss if not addressed promptly. This is caused by High EGT and backpressure. Even standard turbos on a standard tune when something is slightly off, it will melt the rear turbine wheel and send metal fragments throughout the VNT system. We have designed the DP Turbo in mind so you car drive rest assured you wont have any issues if high EGT's or Back pressure becomes a problem.
