Do I need an ECU tune?
No. It’s made to run on the engine’s original settings.
What should I check before fitting it?
Find and fix what caused the old turbo to fail. Common causes are oil starvation or contaminated oil, foreign objects, intake or boost leaks, exhaust or DPF restrictions and boost-control faults.
Which option should I choose?
