Here We Are Going To Talk About One Of The Most Common Problems Of CX-7 Turbocharger. We Have Replaced a CX-7 Turbo For One Our Customers This Week. We Inspected The Car & Original Turbo And Found Out The Oil Feed Pipe To Turbocharger Was Blocked With Carbon Deposits / Sludge. This Restricts Oil Flow To The Bearings Of Turbocharger And It Causes Oil Starvation, Which Damages The Turbocharger Consequently.
The Damaged Turbo Was Replaced With Our Stage One Hi Flow Units Along With A Genuine Mazda Oil Feed Line.
We See Many Mazda Cx-7 Vehicles With Damaged Turbos And Most Of Them Are Caused By Oil Starvation Or Oil Contamination To The Turbocharger. That's Why We Strongly Recommend To Replace The Oil Feed Line When Replacing The Turbocharger!
